Instructions For Checking Your Financial Aid Status under MyECC

  1. Logon to MyECC using your username and password. Use the HELP instructions if you do not know your username or password. User name is generally firstname_lastname@elcamino.edu with password initially set to the last 4 digits of social security number. You should reset your password upon your FIRST login for security purposes.
  2. Look under the WebAdvisor tab on the lower right corner of the page.

Communication and Financial Aid Tabs

Communication Tab: Click tab to access the My Documents tab.

  • My Documents Link - review the status of your missing, pending, or received documents. 

 Financial Aid Tab: Click tab to access the status of your Award Letter and Status by Term

  • Award Letter Link - will display financial aid awarded, if any, and the award letter status.
  • Status By Term Link - will display your aid separated by term
