September 1, 1971 - Stork visits Taiwan, leaves Linda.
July 6, 1983 - Linda comes to America.
June, 1995 - Linda graduates cum laude from UCLA with B.S. in mathematics, officially becomes nerd.
May, 1998 - Linda gets M.S. from California State University, Long Beach after having been a Teaching Associate for two years.
July, 1998 - Linda gets driver's license, terrifies faculty at El Camino College who are scared to be on the freeway at the same time.
August, 1998 to June, 1999 - Linda lectures at El Camino, Cerritos College, Cypress College and Cal State University, Long Beach.
June, 1999 - Linda lands full-time job at El Camino College.
August 5, 2000 - Linda marries Jim. Also a nerd. Honeymooned in Nassau, came back bitten by bugs, needed allergy shot.
April 30, 2003 - Linda gets tenured at El Camino College. Students and administrators are stuck with her for foreseeable future.
September, 2003 - Linda contemplates retirement.
December, 2031 - Linda retires from El Camino College.
Basic Mathematics, Pre-algebra, Elementary Algebra, Intermediate Algebra, College Algebra, Trigonometry, Math for Elementary Teachers I, Nature of Mathematics (Math for Liberal Arts), Finite Mathematics, Pre-calculus, Business Calculus I & II, and Single Variable Calculus I & II.
Dancing, ice skating, horseback riding, traveling, gardening, going to plays, musicals, movies & museums and
attending regularly figure skating exhibitions, Dodgers baseball games, Anaheim Ducks hockey games & tennis tournaments.
Recently deceased, flushed down toilet. Requiescat in pace.
Still hanging in there.
