The Language Academy (ECLA) is a premier intensive English program located on the campus of El Camino College (Torrance, California).  ECLA's staff and instructors provide quality instruction so that all of our students gain confidence, competence, and a connection to English, adjusting to a new country and being on the campus of a prestigious community college.  ECLA students participate in club rush week, they attend university transfer fairs, they go on field trips and they meet with ECC's professional staff of counselors.  El Camino counselors help international students plan for their future - for school or for work.  Join ECLA and be a part of El Camino's international campus community.

If you already have a TOEFL score of 450 / 133 (CBT) / 45-46 on iBT or higher, a TOEIC score of 620 or higher, an IELTS score of 4.5 or higher, or an EIKEN (STEP) score of 2A or higher, you are eligible to apply for an academic program at El Camino College.  Please visit the International Student Program website.
