Welcome from the Athletic Director
The 2011-2012 school year is upon us and again we expect it to be to another exciting year in the history of El Camino College Athletics. After having another solid year in our athletic department and over 60 years of athletic history and tradition, El Camino College continues to provide quality athletic programs with outstanding coaches, athletes, administrators, support staff and alumni.
El Camino College offers twenty-one intercollegiate sports that serve nearly 425 male and female student-athletes that provided our proud community with a 2011 CCCAA State Championship in Women’s Track and Field. South Coast Conference championships were also earned last year in Men’s Cross Country and Women’s Volleyball. Our coaches strongly represent and model the college’s mission statement while providing strong knowledge, technical skills, and personal experiences that equate to a successful athletic experience. In addition to Warrior Athletics’ strong history of success in the California Community College system, we proudly demonstrate a strong commitment to educational success, sportsmanship, excellence and service.
“The Warrior Athletic Family takes great pride in offering a positive experience for all our student-athletes. Our student-athletes will have a tremendous opportunity to move on in their life journey with the academic, athletic and personal skills necessary for them to chase their dreams.”
