Ceramist, Keiko Fukazawa, makes startling works in which images from different cultures collide.  For instance, her graffiti series utilizes large clay vessels that have been broken apart and then decorated with a combination of graffiti, Japanese calligraphy and traditional erotic Japanese painting.  The shards are then reassembled into striking plates and urns.
