SPECIAL RESOURCE CENTER
The Special Resource Center will be closing Thursday, February 4th after 1:00pm through Monday, February, 8th @ 10am. We will not have access to telephones or computers during this time.
In 1972 El Camino College established a special program to assist students with disabilities in their pursuit of a post-secondary education. The purpose of this program is to assist disabled students to perform on an equal basis with non-disabled students in an integrated campus setting. In the first year, this program served a total of 65 students. Today, well over 1200 students are currently receiving services.
