International Student Program (ISP)
The International Student Program at El Camino College enrolls hundreds of students originating from more than 65 different countries including Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Pacific Rim each year.
Many students will earn an Associate of Arts (A.A) or an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree while working toward transferring to a four-year university or college.
Students complete their first two years of university work at El Camino College, and then transfer to a university to complete their last two years of coursework to earn a bachelor's degree. To transfer to a public university in California, students should complete 56-60 transferable units. El Camino College is in the top 10 community colleges in California to transfer to the prestigious University of California such as UCLA.
El Camino College offers more than 80 academic majors, all taught in a small classroom environment by professors who are experts in their fields. The University of California and California State University systems give full credit for appropriate courses completed at El Camino College.
Students will be able to successfully matriculate while attending El Camino College by attending the ISP (F-1 student visa) orientation.
